We held a party upstairs at The Brunswick for my husband’s 60th Birthday last Saturday. From our very first meeting with Andy the service and attention to detail was totally professional and also very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and any little extra request was simply supplied. The upstairs rooms are delightful, with the Green Room, leading to the Red Room and into the White Room. Each room seems to have a different atmosphere and we were able to decorate to our heart’s desire. You also feel like you have privacy upstairs, with our own coatrack, and toilet facilities. And although there was a gig going on downstairs, their was no disturbance upstairs.
The buffet was absolutely delicious and we were honestly advised not to over order and it was more than plentiful, with a very good selection of veggie fare for non meat eaters.
We were completely left to ourselves with the staff unobtrusively coming in and leaving more water, napkins, and tidying up too.
A great evening, thank you The Brunswick, and it has to be said, very good value and very competitively priced for such an upmarket and popular venue!

Your wedding day is one of the best days of your life, however it can also be one of the most stressful. Thankfully, having our wedding reception at the Brunswick meant that all we needed to worry about was our vows, with Andy, Natalie and the guys alleviating all the anxiety of making sure our guests were happy and well catered for. The whole day went like clock work, but with such tight time frames to achieve all that we wanted to do on the day, the Brunswick made sure things ran smoothly, from the greeting of our guests with prosecco, to clearing the room in such a short time before the evening disco. I can’t thank them enough for making our reception such a fun and stress free time, and as the first couple of our large circle of friends to get married, everyone commented how they would have their reception just the same. This is testament to how good a time everyone had.

The Brunswick provided us with an excellent service. We are an arts organisation working with people with learning disabilities and The Venue is fully accessible with lovely friendly staff. The Brunswick team took full care of us throughout our event and provided an excellent buffet for our guests. We had an amazing time, thank you!

The Brunswick has a great atmosphere – it seems really intimate although you can fit 100 people in there! The sound is great as well as the house soundman and the staff are really flexible and happy to meet our specific needs. It was also great to see a venue actively promoting all their nights, we saw posters for ours in the venue and at local outdoor events with a ‘Brunswick’ bar. I have seen quiet poetry readings as well as rock bands at The Brunswick and it can all be made to fit!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your hard work on Saturday for Sarah’s party. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and Sarah said it was her best birthday ever so i’m really pleased with how it went! We got loads of compliments on the venue and the food so a huge well done and my sincere thanks to you and the team. Your sound man also did a fantastic job with the sound and he seemed to enjoy himself too! Thanks again we’ll not hesitate to recommend The Brunswick to anyone who will listen!
