Definitely not one to miss! Seriously.

The Far Meadow made the news when they played at last year's A New Day festival in Faversham, Kent alongside such greats from the past as Caravan, Hawkwind, Curved Air, Gong, Arthur Brown, Carl Palmer and Ten Years After. And they rightly blew the audience away.

Their latest CD Foreign Land is getting rave reviews, such as these:

"Keyboards reminiscent of Keith Emerson, vocals reminiscent of Annie Haslam, but The Far Meadow is in no way a copycat of ELP or Renaissance. They sound retro and modern at the same time somehow."

"This band are the best 'new' prog rock band this country has to offer. By rights they should be HUGE ... the music is lush, vast, gorgeous prog rock with stellar musicianship and incredible clear vocals from Marguerita Alexandrou ... do yourselves a favour and buy this. NOW. "

PsychoYogi, like The Far Meadow, are from London and making a rare visit to Brighton. They describe themselves as Leftfield Punk Jazz, but I'm not sure that's an adequate description for the excellence of what's on offer. Hard to define but excellent, for sure.

"Imagine King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Tom Waits, Zappa, Captain Beefheart and the BBC Youth Jazz Orchestra all playing together. There is some phenomenal playing on here - probably one of the best bunch of musicians that have graced this page"
- Rhythm Magazine, UK.
