Jazz for Europe is a call to rise up for all those who believe in a progressive, humanitarian, anti-racist and green United Kingdom as part of the European Economic Union. This comes at a time when the new government is on a highly destructive, extreme right wing course to crash out of the EEC with chilling consequences for social and economic upheaval.

Jazz for Europe will feature performances from some of the country’s leading jazz musicians as well as progressive politicians in an inclusive evening of music and spoken word at Brighton & Hove’s acclaimed Brunswick venue, located by the sea on Holland Road

Jazz for Europe reflects the views and hopes of half the UK population, the overwhelming majority of both UK and European jazz musicians and the music, arts and culture industry here and in Europe.

Presented by a three jazz musicians who have been variously involved in the creation of Jazz For Labour at The Barbican in 2015 and subsequent Jazz For Labour benefit concerts, the house band will include Terry Seabrook, Julian Nicholas, Nigel Thomas, Javier Ferrero and Jon Newey with guest performances from Claire Martin, Arun Ghosh, Alex Eberhard, Sara Oschlag, Imogen Ryall and other names to be confirmed. Proceeds will go to the Peoples Vote Campaign.
