Rock and pop has always been about the teenage experience, but it's usually written by people several years past that age. 13 PEARLS – named after their favourite bubble tea shop and the platform at Clapham Junction that takes them home to Brighton – are bang in the middle of it. Brought together through a shared love of pop-punk, Hope (15) and Emily Blond (14) are multi-instrumentalists who write songs ripped from the pages of authentic teen life. The melodic alternative/indie duo frequently swap instruments onstage, and their style is equally difficult to nail down: “Every song is different,” says Emily, “and it will probably keep changing...”

SPEAKERFREAK. Clashing, hard, strong sounding four piece Indie Rock band from Worthing. Playing catchy riffs and excitable rock belters. Pub-stool prophets who want to knife you one moment and put you in a loving headlock the next—all while charming you into buying their next drink. Importing gritty garage rock sounds from Seattle, while holding onto the Manchester ‘Rock’n’Roll’ Guitars.

‘SpoiltBrat’ is a mixture of indie and ambient jazz merged together to create what has been described as ‘music straight from the heavens’.

‘SpoiltBrat’ a.k.a Lucille Indigo is a young Brighton musician/songwriter, currently studying at BIMM, she performs her stripped back, angelic tunes with just guitar and her sweet, jazzy vocals. Prepare to be serenaded.
